![]() You will achieve a state of being in a place where you stop talking, and God starts talking. Let the anointing of God flow like it did on Aaron. Let God's presence be known to your soul. Talk to Him in the early hours of the morning. But so often, it's always us talking about the things he needs to do for us. He wants to tell us of the great and wonderful things He has in store for us. He desires of this intimacy with each one of us. When everything is at a standstill, it feels like God is so much closer to you. His strength isn't needed until our strength is no longer present. God works when every other power stops working, every other channel comes to a half, and when every other door seems shut. But why would a "pin" drop amongst so many other things that could make a sound? Possibly because you are in such a serene state that the only things that could drop are small, tiny, and inconsiderable. It's so silent that a pin drop could be heard with ease. A possible logic might exist behind that saying. So weirdly enough, I started to give thought to this particular phrase. ![]() We start to question why things work the way they do. Most of us would happily trade our position if we were given an opportunity I'm sure.īut we're growing so we start to apply logic and reasoning to almost everything we undertake. It's the idea of having a life of no responsibilities. ![]() While I'm in the process of doing that, a particular thought always slips past my mind. I often tend to reflect on my childhood days. Pin drop silence- sounds like a familiar phrase? You probably heard your teacher say it or perhaps even your parents. Then there came a voice to him that said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Devotion When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Now there was a great wind, so strong that it was splitting mountains and breaking rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire and after the fire a sound of sheer silence.
